Strawberry Fields Ripe for Picking
A fruitful and fun
family outing, the Golden Eagle Farm officially opened its strawberry
fields on Monday, June 29th. The berries are ripe for picking.
Located on Highway 70, just 10 miles from Minocqua, the farm is open
from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., seven days a week. The season
generally runs through mid-July. The Berry
Hotline – 715-588-3485 – will give callers and update on current berry
conditions and which field is open. Owned and operated by the Lac du Flambeau Tribe, the farm’s main crop is strawberries.
